ShoutDRIVE HQ, Version 2.0
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008Hi everyone!
This week I focused on re-arranging the equipment sitting in ShoutDRIVE HQ. Not just the stuff you see in the pictures below and on the webcam, but pretty much everything from the ground up has been rewired, and many of the old cables replaced.
So, as part of the improvements, I set up a nice new Acer monitor today, thanks to the fine folks over at Fidelity Computing & Communications, who provided a great deal and excellent service as always.
Judging by this trial, it’s the first of many I’ll set up at here in the home studio. It couldn’t weigh more than a couple pounds and is extremely space efficient. It’s like a laptop screen in an enclosure, with better resolution. :-p
Pix or it never happened?
Ok, so, here are a few (poor quality, sorry) pix I shot. (PS: Sorry for the lousy lighting. It was late as you can see.)
As you can see, the old monitor looks extremely dated sitting next to the new Acer X163W. So, it’s time for another new one, so they match, right?
